- CCPA to set up its own investigation agency to check unfair trade practices carried out by business houses .Recommendation from other regulatory bodied be additional help as and when required in order to have impartial information. Section 19(2)
- Indian Standards and Norms for imported goods/services
In case of imported goods or services, norms set by Indian system be applicable and not foreign criteria or their reports
(CCPA order in case of imported cooker without BIS Stamp /verification (Ref. Judgment by National Commission)
- Uniform procedure to be adopted by all District ,state level Commissions(National Commission can be exempted)
- System be developed to make Nodal officers be present on the first date after notice to OP business houses AND Commission may propose to repair/replace/ refund for defective goods or services and settle the matter on the next date through Knodel officers’ efforts
- System be developed to fix up cases for hearing in District and State commissions subject wise on different days .Such as
Monday ;Real Estate, Tuesday Insurance and likewise Electricity ,electronic goods &appliances,Mobile,transportation(movers and packers, Carrie r& couriers) and miscellaneous issues
